Dr. Perkins graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1985. Prior to joining his Eagan practice, he was an officer in the United States Navy Dental Corps, where he received advanced training at the Naval Dental School.

Most recently, Dr. Perkins received special recognition from the St. Paul District Dental Society for his leadership in Children's Dental Health Month programs. Dr. Perkins is married with two sons. He is a Scoutmaster, coaches youth sports, enjoys outdoor endurance sports and family cabin time.
